Cave Complex

An HDR shot in an old underground ammunition storage room at an old WW-1 bunker. Above the icicles there is a rusting corrugated iron roof, and to the left a small window opens into a cliff that drops a few hundred feet to the ocean.

Underground Room

An old underground WW1-era ammunition storage room I was lucky enough to stumble across in early spring when there were ice stalagmites on the floor. I will not give out the location of this room, the only reason it isn't covered in graffiti and/or boarded up is likely because, for whatever reason, most people haven't discovered it.

I'm going to the Yukon!

Just a quick note to let my watchers know that I've just been hired as a fieldwork assistant studying the impact of climate change on alpine plant communities in the Yukon, beginning in June. I will be away from any internet or computers for 3 months from June - end of August, so I will be inactive for a long time. I'm also in the middle of final exams right now with next to no time for DA so if I've not answered a message of yours please forgive me, this is why.

Hopefully I'll come back with some good shots of the alpine areas and mountains!
